When street culture and toys collide, expect nothing but a blast.
Street Superior x BigBigCon 2019
Street Superior is Singapore’s very subculture of sneakers and streetwear. It is an annual convention that gathers the local community and international vendors to trade ideas, peddle and exhibit their collections from sneakers to art to music and all-things-vintage. This year, they are making it absolutely fabulous with the addition of toys!
It is BIG BIG CON’s very first show and they have partnered up with Street Superior for a thrilling collaboration that I personally can’t wait since we don’t get a lot of toy shows in Singapore. With an entire space dedicated to toys, I am hoping to snag a couple of goodies or just fully soak myself in the atmosphere meeting artists and eyeballing crazy exclusives.
Under Flabslab, BBC is bringing a host of popular designers, illustrators and artists to the show with several launching their exclusives during the show. BBC will occupy part of level 5 with 3 different zones each dedicated to the following category:
Jar Jar’s Bizarre Bazaar - Check out toys from the 80s including Super7 figurines
Fu Chee Keong’s Trading Post - Snag up personal grails from fellow fans and collectors
Con-men’s Universe - Meet featured artists with their exclusives
